Relational Intelligence in Contact Improvisation
A brief introduction to Relational Intelligence in Contact Improvisation
August 30 & 31
This movement workshop will introduce dancers to body-based practices that rethink and retrain our relational skills through understanding how our embodied states influence our communicative impact and abilities.
This material stems from 5 decades of movement work formed on the ground of contact improvisation.
Our work in this single day offers dancers the recognition that moving well together allows us to become more than single beings. Expanding who we are together frames what we can be and what can arise in the immediacy and vitality of each moving moment.
Who is this Retreat for?
