Join us for a delightful evening of short performances! This special evening features 3-6 performances, each 10-20 minutes long from artists of different disciplines. This is a chance for artists to share work, or excerpts of their work, alongside other artists.
Join body mechanics and mobility coach Mandy Hackman and psychotherapist and educator Amie Anderson for a weekend of emerging from the deep freeze of winter. We will create space within ourselves to thaw out, applying wisdom from Somatic Experiencing and movement-based somatic exploration that honor the nervous system’s mechanisms for safety and interconnection. Together, we will reignite agency for those who are feeling stuck, indecisive, or frozen as we welcome the coming spring. We will offer a space to become curious about freeze, reconnect with our bodies, and expand into resilience with movement, art, and conceptual exploration. As nature cycles through freeze and thaw, we will honor the wisdom in our bodies and invite new possibilities.

Rivers through, Oceans in is a collaborative and somatic movement workshop taught by Maya Schwartz and Jessy Crist. In this workshop we will explore the body’s natural tides of movement and connection to internal waters through creative practice, contemporary dance, somatic practice, and contact improvisation.

A workshop on Consent and Communication, cleverly disguised as a Pajama Party. Have recent events left you feeling deprived of opportunities for touch? Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed, isolated, or alone? Do you struggle to ask for what you really want? If any of this sounds like you or you are just curious then you are invited to pack your PJs, your favorite pillow, and a snack to share and give yourself the gift of a Cuddle Party.

Our intention for this 9-day program is to practice meditation on the relational field. Where a traditional meditation retreat might have practitioners focusing on their breath, or sensations throughout their body, this meditation practice will have us focusing on what is coming up between us in relationship moment-to-moment, the ever-unfolding dance between self and other.

Song Circle is a weekly offering for the month of April. Singing is medicine. All of our ancestors were singers, and so are you. All abilities and disabilities are welcome.

A 4-week somatic investigation into your baby’s first movements. Through touch and play, we explore the foundations of healthy neurological development—from nursing and bonding to rolling and crawling—and why each stage is important. Parents leave with practical tools for everyday ease and connection.

In this workshop we will explore the overlap of somatic practice and art for culture shift. We will begin by looking at how some aspects of our overculture - hyper-activity, electronic devices, systems of oppression, capitalism - live in and pattern our bodies. And our bodies, in turn, create our collective culture, often through our creations. Therefore both our bodies and our creations are places where we can interrupt patterns of harm and create more freedom.

Hello. This is our second CI+SOTAI retreat at WildHeart.
I am deeply honored to hold space for contradicting the world’s normalization of disembodiment and distress through remembering, embodying and resting our SOTAI (human and non-human ancestral body).
As a Japanese person, I will emphasize on taking time and being spacious. Let the time have their turn to speak. Let the space have their turn to speak. Touch is powerful. Touch is a portal. Sometimes I don’t want to be touched because it’s so nostalgic. Can I cry with you?
I am so blessed to be alive with you all.
