As humans, we have to make a conscious choice to change the direction of the startle response and come back to ourselves. The path back is through the body. To find the body again, we begin with space. Space holds the body.
In this Alexander Technique based workshop, together we explore how to meet our responsiveness to life in a new way. How we come back to ourselves matters, it’s where growth is.

Vocal Prism is a six week class series focusing on vocal improvisation; the practice and tools to develop it.
Queer Body Jam

Queer Body Jam is an improvisation based, dance class for Queer bodies. This is an all-levels movement class made for every body. We will move through 60 minutes of open-format continuous movement, guided by vocal and movement cues. No previous dance experience necessary – willingness to sweat and stay open minded welcome!
Authentic Movement Winter Series

Authentic Movement is a contemplative dance practice where a mover explores the unconscious mind through self-directed, expressive movement while being witnessed with compassion and non-judgment. This relational practice of “seeing and being seen” fosters trust, self-awareness, and a deeper connection to one’s inner experience.
Practice Weekend

Start your New Year in meditation, movement and song with Neva and Raffles! This silent meditation retreat is infused with sitting and walking meditation, yoga, singing, and ceremony. All the spaces will be lightly guided and held, so some experience in each of these practices will be helpful. We will meditate alternating sessions of 30 minutes of seated meditation with 10 minutes of walking meditation, for several hours each day. Sometimes there will be light guidance during meditation and other periods will be silent.
Body & Space: BMC® , Bartenieff Fundamentals and Space Harmony Registration

This is a 5 day workshop with Amy Matthews. Mornings will focus on the Bartenieff Fundamentals and afternoons on the movement scales of Laban’s Space Harmony, with BMC ideas woven throughout.

Authentic Movement Immersion Winter 2026

This Authentic Movement Immersion offers space to explore the Self and relational connection, awaken the multidimensional layers of the psyche, and cultivate conscious awareness through embodiment. Together we will practice seeing and being seen, moving and witnessing, speaking and holding silence.
Vertical Dance Workshop with Steep Horizon Dance

An open level workshop for movers who are interested in the challenging and rewarding mode of harness-based vertical dance. Participants will get the chance to fly, skim, glide, swing, and tumble. No prior experience required. Minimum of 4 participants needed to hold the workshop, max of 6 participants allowed. Please register early!
Contemporary Dance (Mixed Level)

Vija’s two-hour contemporary class begins with a full-body Simonson Technique warmup, balancing stretching, strengthening, and dance technique. Dancers then move through progressions across the floor before learning a longer combination and closing with improvisation. Her classes emphasize musicality, fluidity, and emotion.
