DESCRIPTION:Shake with Niki (in-person only) \n\n\n\n4:30 – 5:30pm Second Sunday of every month\, starting November 10th (60-75 mins) \n\n\n\nGroup Shake – A somatic movement practice during which we will shake to music or sometimes\, silence. Shaking\, individually but as part of a group to ground us\, can be healing as it is a natural way to relieve tension. You may choose to shake standing\, seated\, lying down or alternating between those depending on what your body needs in the moment. You can choose your own intensity\, when to stop or when to keep going as you listen to your own body. While it is important to keep ourselves open to what\, if anything\, may arise emotionally\, please only engage to the degree that you can still care for yourself. This is not a therapeutic space. The practice will start with a demonstration and it will end in silence. Dress comfortably and stay hydrated! \n\n\n\n$10-$25

The one and only Bread & Puppet Circus is back with Anti-Empire Art that acknowledges our beloved Mother Dirt\, who makes us and unmakes us\, and who presents urgently needed domestic resurrection services for the victims of this latest genocide. We are joined by Palestinian cranes on their way to Washington to replace the excrement in the White House with organic bird droppings\, green frogs who teach the art of hopping over seemingly insurmountable problems\, and gaggles of kindergarten butterflies who frolic to their hearts’ desire. About an hour. \n  \nIs the show ok for kids? While there is nothing inappropriate for children in our shows\, we do speak on heavy topics. It’s vegan.  \n  \nCan I be in the show? At some places we are offering a workshop before the show to work folks into the show\, but otherwise\, the show is not built for volunteer performers. \n  \nWill the show be the same as what I saw in Vermont? Or last year? Or back in the 70’s? While the structure of the show is always the same (flags\, many short acts\, garbage men and washer women\, paper mache animals\, a brass band\, etc)\, the show is constantly evolving in response to the moment. This full body listening experience will draw from Sasha’s extensive instrument collection of original and global winds\, strings and percussion and his background of intensive musical studies of the world’s musics from countries such as India\, Indonesia\, Europe\, the Middle East and the Americas. Sasha will couple this with his unique vocals and electronics to create an ever evolving sonic tapestry that will immerse the listener in resonance and overtones; aiding all in their own sonic journey\, relaxation\, stress reduction and/ or meditation. \n\n\n\nParticipants will be free to recline (savasana pose)\, sit or stand as needed. DESCRIPTION:Shake with Niki (in-person only) \n\n\n\n4:30 – 5:30pm Second Sunday of every month\, starting November 10th (60-75 mins) \n\n\n\nGroup Shake – A somatic movement practice during which we will shake to music or sometimes\, silence. Shaking\, individually but as part of a group to ground us\, can be healing as it is a natural way to relieve tension. You may choose to shake standing\, seated\, lying down or alternating between those depending on what your body needs in the moment. You can choose your own intensity\, when to stop or when to keep going as you listen to your own body. While it is important to keep ourselves open to what\, if anything\, may arise emotionally\, please only engage to the degree that you can still care for yourself. This is not a therapeutic space. The practice will start with a demonstration and it will end in silence. Dress comfortably and stay hydrated! \n\n\n\n$10-$25

DESCRIPTION:Come experience a multi-instrumental Sound Bath with composer-performer Sasha Bogdanowitsch. This full body listening experience will draw from Sasha’s extensive instrument collection of original and global winds\, strings and percussion and his background of intensive musical studies of the world’s musics from countries such as India\, Indonesia\, Europe\, the Middle East and the Americas. Sasha will couple this with his unique vocals and electronics to create an ever evolving sonic tapestry that will immerse the listener in resonance and overtones; aiding all in their own sonic journey\, relaxation\, stress reduction and/ or meditation. \n\n\n\nParticipants will be free to recline (savasana pose)\, sit or stand as needed.
